Types of Facelift Procedures

If you are looking to improve your appearance, a facelift may be the right choice. There are many types of facelift procedures, including mini facelifts.

The results of each of these choices are different, so you should carefully consider their advantages before making your decision.

Mini Facelift

If you wish to reduce the effects of aging while avoiding a surgical procedure, then a mini facelift might be right for you.

The mini facelift is a less-invasive procedure than the traditional one and is often performed as an outpatient. The cheeks, neck and jowls are targeted to reduce wrinkles and sagging.

The procedure usually takes one to two hours. Patients can expect some swelling and bruising after the procedure. You should be aware that the effects of a mini-facelift may not be as dramatic or last as long.

But it’s a good choice for anyone who wants to make subtle improvements to their look.

Ponytail Facelift

The ponytail facelift is a popular and quick alternative to surgery for facial rejuvenation. The ponytail facelift is an excellent option for those who want to avoid the downtime and expense of a traditional facial lift.

The procedure involves making tiny incisions at the hairline. These allow the surgeon to reposition or lift the underlying tissue and give the skin a more youthful look. The procedure can be performed in the doctor’s office with local anesthesia. It can produce results that last for up to two-years.

Ponytail facelifts are becoming more popular in Saint-Hyacinthe. More people want non-invasive procedures to look younger. The procedure usually takes one to 2 hours and is easy on the body.

The procedure will not produce the same dramatic effects as a facelift. However, it may still be able to help reduce the appearance and severity of wrinkles.

Thread Lift

The thread lift is a non-surgical procedure that provides subtle results for skin tightening and facial rejuvenation.

Contour ThreadLift – also known as a thread lift – is a minimallyinvasive procedure which lifts skin sagging on the face and neck. The procedure uses dissolvable sults that are inserted deeper into the skin’s layers to lift, reposition and tighten the sagging area.

The threads work as a scaffold, providing support and structure. Collagen production is also encouraged. Thread lifts in Saint-Hyacinthe can be performed by specialists with experience who know how to get the best results possible while minimizing downtime.

You can tailor the procedure to meet your goals and needs. Results can be seen in as little time as a couple of weeks. With a Thread Lift, you will look younger with less downtime and no visible scars.

SMAS Facelift

The SMAS facial lift is a minimally-invasive, advanced procedure that provides a better, longer-lasting outcome. You can look younger, refreshed and rejuvenated with minimal recovery time.

The procedure involves making tiny incisions near the hairline or at the base the ear. After that, the muscles and the skin are lifted and tightened. This procedure can be performed as an outpatient and only requires local anesthesia. It usually takes two to three hours.

Recovery time is typically quicker with an SMAS facelift than with a more traditional facelift. Most people return to their daily routines in one to three days, though swelling and bruising could take up to two weeks.

SMAS results can last longer than traditional facelifts and are usually visible for several years. If you’re thinking about a facelift, you may want to consider this procedure.

Deep Plane Facelift

SMAS is the best choice for those who want a natural-looking result with minimal downtime. If you want a more dramatic change, then a deep plane facial in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, may be your best option.

This type of facelift is designed to create a more dramatic change in the face by lifting and repositioning the deeper layers of the face. This procedure can restore a youthful appearance by treating jowls, deep wrinkles and sagging facial skin.

You can also use it to enhance the appearance of your neck and jawline.
